Our Conference

The 2013 Conference & Expo was another success.

Plans are already underway to secure a date and location for the 2014 and as soon as those are confirmed, we will place that information online.
DAS is extremely appreciative of our vendors who, once again, supported the event by their attendance as well as donations to the Toys for Tots program and Silent Auction which benefited the Education Fund.

Thanks go to all who donated toys and who participated in the Silent Auction.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2014 conference and expo.

Surveying Defined

Surveying is the science of measuring the size and shape of the Earth and accurately locating points on the surface of Earth. These points and their coordinates define exactly where we were in the past, where we are today, and where we will be in the future. Transportation and engineering projects, mapping, urban and enviromental management, and the definition of legal boundaries for land ownership would not be possible without surveying.
